About Us
We are a voluntary community group of diverse believers from across the Christian denominational spectrum (protestant, orthodox and catholic etc.) that seek to make Jesus’ love and power known on the streets of London and Kent, UK primarily through prophetic gestures including signs and wonders. ConnectCommunityOur Mission & Vision
As part of Christ’s army on the street we seek:
- A culture of honour – loving people and highlighting the good in each person that we minister to.
- Encouraging people – help people to see where God is at work in their lives, through praying for people on the streets.
- Meeting people where they are at – through giving people a sense of our supernatural God we trust that God will move them to the next stage of their journey with Him. We respect all people and allow everyone to find their way without being pressurised.
- To be a witness to church unity – that despite our differences, we can walk hand in hand to make Him known*.
- To make church accessible – we are the only Jesus people may ever meet; we seek in simple lay terms to explain the reason for the hope we have!
*we adhere to the Nicene Creed
Why Jesus?
Maybe you have met us on the streets of the UK and would like to know more about the Christian message:
Our One God is love, a community of Persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). He created us His creatures in love, including our first parents Adam and Eve whom He created in His image and likeness. Creating us in love, God wanted us to return that love to Him. God, however, also created us in a state of freedom. At the beginning of creation, our first parents were faced with the free choice of obeying or disobeying God. They sadly choose not to trust God. The devil, a fallen angel tempted Adam and Eve into doubting God’s goodness, which they unfortunately gave into. The gates of Heaven were now closed to the human race, even though every person born since Adam retains His image, His likeness in us has been tarnished. The offense of our first parent’s sin cannot be underestimated, since sin is an insult to a holy and loving Creator only an infinite sacrifice or satisfaction can bridge the gap between humanity and Him. Yet God in His mercy doesn’t turn His back on us, despite our disobedience God announces the promise of a future redeemer who will save us from our sins.

Our Beliefs & Values
We are a group of diverse believers from across the Christian denominational spectrum (protestant, orthodox and catholic etc.) that seek to make Jesus’ love and power known on the streets of Canada Water & Surrey Quays in London primarily through prophetic gestures including signs and wonders.

The promise
The Church’s book the Bible continues the story of God’s promise to rescue us from damnation, and communicates the continual narrative of God’s love and involvement with humanity. God will continually form a people and a family line that will lead to Jesus the Saviour of the World. Our Saviour will be conceived in the womb of Mary, and become man through the power and action of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus the Redeemer
Jesus our Redeemer came to earth to show and manifest the love of God, for God is love Himself. Jesus did this by teaching people about the Father’s love and showing concern for the people whom He came into contact with. He did this by demonstrating God’s love through healing the sick and raising the dead and calling sinners to turn towards a God that loves each one of us perfectly. God shows us the full extent of His love for us, when He freely allows His Son Jesus to be a sacrifice for our sins. Christ the innocent one has done no wrong, yet He offers Himself to be treated as a common criminal and die the most horrific death on a cross. Jesus becomes a perfect sacrifice for the sins of us all, past, present and future.
Through His death and resurrection the gates of Heaven are now open again for all humanity, salvation is possible. Jesus wants no one to perish, He knows the real consequences of sin, especially the eternal separation from the love of God (hell). Yet sin not only wounds our relationship with God but also with our neighbour. Jesus has come to form a new people across the world who will continue His message of love, redemption and healing when He has ascended into heaven, the Catholic Church, His Body.
An invitation
The cross displayed in many churches is a sign of God’s saving love for each one of us. God’s love calls for a response from each one of us, to be made new and to enter into His family the Church. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, in Him there is freedom!
Alpha
You may also find attending an Alpha Course helpful to grasp ‘some’ of the basics of the Christian message.
The video below gives an introduction to Alpha.
If you are not in the UK, have a look at the offices of Alpha in other countries.
Any short prayer from the heart is a great way of connecting with God, for example:
O God my Loving Father, please reveal yourself more and more to me through your Spirit and the areas of my life that I need forgiveness for. I am sorry for having offended your goodness and for not living my life for you. My sins have crucified my loving Saviour Jesus Christ who opened up the gates of heaven for me and who invites me to avoid the pains and punishment of hell.
I promise with the help of your strength to live each day for you, reject the devil and find nourishment and forgiveness through your Body the Church.

Group at tables inside shopping centre
We are all passionate about God and led by the Spirit of God. And we know from personal experience how God transforms lives. Before we encountered God, many of us were unbelievers trying to cope with issues and difficult situations in our lives. If you would like to hear more, we can give you our testimonies and the good news!
How God is impacting, helping and changing peoples lives for the better is direct evidence of the power of God working in the world today! Just as it was 2,000 years ago when Jesus walked on the earth.
So whatever your background, whoever you are, keep an open mind, because miracles do happen.

Frequently Asked Questions
I am not skilled in outreach and Holy Spirit led ministry can I still come along?
You don’t have to be an expert to come along, we are all still learning, but we ask that you feel comfortable or expectant in hearing God’s voice in your own personal prayer times before you come along.
I am very skilled at apologetics can I contribute to your outreach in this way?
This is not the style of ministry that we feel called to operate in as a group of believers, we generally try to avoid theological debates on the streets and step back from confrontational encounters..
I am skilled in deliverance ministry and feel I have a lot to offer in this area to your group?
We generally follow Jesus model of short prayers, commands and declarations.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Midday snack and drink to sustain you on the go if need be. Bring a pen to write any words you may receive from the Lord during worship.
I can’t make the 10:30 – 11:00 am start time, can I meet you somewhere else?
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate this, please turn up promptly, it is one of our ministry distinctives that we worship together before we hit the streets.
What time does the day finish?
We generally finish at 16:30.
My church denomination has taught me lot of theological things, can I share these on outreach?
As a group we submit to the Nicene Creed, we ask that you minister in a way that respects the wide diversity of Christian beliefs.
